Kennedy Westbrook, a redshirt sophomore on the Division I NJIT women's soccer team, played 90 for 16th consecutive game in her college career, helping the Highlanders to a 3-0 win over UMass Thursday in their 2025 home opener.
Westbrook, who has played 90 minutes in all 17 of her collegiate games, led an NJIT defense that limited UMass to eight shots-on-goal in the contest.
NJIT scored one goal in the first half, and put the game away with a pair of second-half goals.
NJIT returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Lehigh.
