NTL VOLLEYBALL: WYALUSING SWEEPS ATHENS IN SEASON OPENER (22 PHOTOS) (2025-08-26) Valley Sports Report ATHENS — Wyalusing pulled out a hard-fought win in the first set on its way to a season-opening sweep of Athens here Tuesday night in NTL volleyball action.
The Rams won by scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-20.
Sophomore Ellie Mosher led Athens with five kills and three digs, while junior Meg Wiles had six setter assists and two service aces, junior Hannah Parrish had six assists, and senior Regan McDaniel registered four kills.
Sophomore Lainey Vosburgh recorded nine serve-receives and two digs for the Wildcats, while freshman Kayla Forbes had seven digs, and junior Ella Raynor chipped in with three digs.
Athens returns to action Thursday at Troy.
