STAC BOYS GOLF: ONEONTA ROLLS TO WIN OVER WAVERLY (2025-08-29)

ONEONTA — Oneonta had three golfers shoot 45 or better to lead the Yellowjackets to a 34-stroke win over Waverly here Thursday afternoon on the back nine of the rugged Oneonta Country Club.

Oneonta's Kason Miller earned low-medal honors with a 40 to pace a five-player aggregate 226-260 victory.

Sophomore Griff Walter led Waverly with a 48, while senior Mac Talada shot a 50, senior Tammo Bruns carded a 51, and junior Daniel Fischer carded a 52.

Sophomore Daniel Brady added a 59 for the Wolverines, and freshman Landon Munn tacked on a non-scoring round of 61.

Waverly, now 0-3, returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Susquehanna Valley.
