Athens (0-2) at Waverly, 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Wildcats are coming off a 3-1 loss to Troy Thursday, while the Wolverines, who are coming off a 3-11 season, open the 2025 season tonight.

BOYS SOCCER
Athens (2-0) at Wellsboro (3-0), 5:30 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 2-0 win over Elk Lake Saturday, while the Hornets edged South Williamsport, 2-1.

Oneonta at Waverly (0-2), 7 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 1-0 loss to Norwich, while the Yellowjackets open their 2025 campaign.

CROSS COUNTRY
NEB, Sullivan County at Athens, 4 p.m.: The Athens boys and girls see their first action of the season.
