IAC VOLLEYBALL: TIOGA SWEEPS T-BURG FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN (24 PHOTOS) (2025-09-11)
Valley Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER — Tioga battled through a hard-fought set on its way to its third straight win, a sweep of Trumansburg here Thursday night in IAC Large School crossover volleyball action.
The Tigers, now 3-1, won by scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-18.
Alyson Chamberlain led Tioga with 10 service points, 12 setter assists, and two digs, while Lydiah Decker had 10 points and 13 digs, and RaeAnne Feeko had eight points, 10 assists, 10 digs and two blocks.
Lily Mezzatesta had three points, nine kills and six digs for the Tigers, while Audi Zorn had two points, seven kills, three blocks, and five digs, and Vanessa Tunnicliff recorded four assists, three kills and three blocks.
Mia Hall registered six kills and two blocks in the win, while Vida Rossi had five kills, Jade Keaty recorded six digs, Mary Divers had three digs, Peyton Black added two kills, and Sadie Marshall chipped in with two digs.
Tioga hosts the annual Tioga Volleyball Tournament Friday.
JV — TIOGA 2, T-BURG 1: After dropping the first set, 25-22, Tioga, now 3-1, rallied to win by scores of 25-13 and 25-14 for a 2-1 win over Trumansburg.
Bri Lounsbury led Tioga with 10 points, five digs, and two kills, while Irie Lynch had eight points, six assists, five digs, two kills, and one block, and Riley Butler added eight points.
Courtney Smith had five points and seven kills in the win, while Kate Kithcart had five points, three kills, one block, and four digs, Kaylynne Miller doled out seven assists, and Lizzie Seck added three kills and one block.
