STAC BOYS GOLF: WALTER SHOOTS LOW-MEDAL ROUND; WAVERLY FALLS TO CV (2025-09-22)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly sophomore Griff Walter earned low-medal honors, but Chenango Valley used more balanced scoring to win a 228-247 decision here Monday afternoon in STAC Central Division boys golf action at The Club at Shepard Hills.
Walter shot a 1-over par round of 38 on the front nine at Shepard Hills, while Owen Harrison was low for the Warriors with a 42.
Daniel Brady shot a 47 for the Wolverines, while Daniel Fischer carded a 48, Mac Talada added a 54, and Trevor Allen tacked on a 60.
Madden Michalko had a 43 for CV, and Sam Houser added a 45.
Waverly, now 0-8, hosts Seton Catholic Thursday.
