THE VALLEY — "Football Friday" features a trio of games with Tioga at Haggerty Field in a divisional game against B-G, and Sayre at the Lockhart Street Bowl against NTL Small School foe South Williamsport, while Athens is on the road against Large School rival Towanda.

There are four other events on Friday's docket, and all four are on the road.

FOOTBALL
Bainbridge-Guilford (1-3) at Tioga (3-1), 7 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 31-0 win over arch-rival Newark Valley, while the Bobcats dropped a 59-38 decision to Deposit-Hancock.

Tioga, ranked No. 1 in the state in Class D, had outscored its opponents by an average of 26.8 to 13.5 points per game, while B-G has been outscored by an average of 37.5 to 26 points per game.

Athens (5-1) at Towanda (1-5), 7 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 35-22 win at Wellsboro, while the Black Knights topped Canton, 41-14, for their first win of the season.

Athens has outscored its opponents by an average 46 to 25.8 points per game, while Towanda has been outscored by an average of 30.8 to 11.7 points per game.

South Williamsport at Sayre, 7 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 62-6 loss at Northwest Area, while the Mounties rolled to a 54-6 win over Cowanesque Valley.

Sayre has been outscored by an average of 47.7 to 2.3 points per game, while South Williamsport has outscored it foes by an average of 30 to 22.3 points per game.
