McKenzie Williams, a freshman on the Morrisville State field hockey team, scored her first collegiate goals, and also dished out an assist in the Mustangs' 9-0 win over Alfred University Monday.
Williams assisted on a goal in the first quarter to give Morrisville a 2-0 lead.
Williams scored her first goal early in the second period to make it 3-0, then scored one of the Mustangs' four goals in the third quarter to up the lead 6-0.
Williams, who averages 54.5 minutes of playing time in nine games, has two goals and two assists on the season. She has taken 11 shots — all on-target.
Morrisville, now 3-6, returns to action Oct. 14 at Nazareth.
