H.S. FOOTBALL: WAVERLY FOE IN 2023 STATE FINALS, CROUCHER, COMMITS TO PLAY AT OLE MISS (2025-10-07)
Valley Sports ReportFormer Fonda-Fultonville QB Keegan Croucher, who led F-F to the state championship game against Waverly as a freshman in 2023, has committed to play his college football in the SEC, under Lane Kiffin at Mississippi.
Croucher, who transferred to Cheshire Academy in Connecticutt prior to his sophomore season, completed 38 of 53 passes for 422 yards, and two TDs in Fonda-Fultonville's 46-26 loss to Waverly in the New York State Class C title game.
Croucher, who is a top-10 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class, will play for Kiffin, who coached current New York Giants coach Jaxson Dart at Ole Miss.
Croucher received more than 20 offers, and chose Ole Miss over Penn State and Oregon in his final three. He also received offers from Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana, Syracuse, UCLA, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
A four-star prospect, Croucher is ranked as the No. 9 QB by Rivals. He announced his commitment via Social media on Sunday.
