IAC VOLLEYBALL: TIOGA ROLLS TO SWEEP OF TRUMANSBURG (20 PHOTOS) (2025-10-07)

TRUMANSBURG — Tioga has had its difficulties in Trumansburg over the years, but Tuesday night the Tigers pulled off a sweep of the Blue Raiders in IAC Large School Division crossover volleyball action.

Tioga, now 9-2, won by scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-14.

Senior Lilly Mezzatesta led Tioga with seven service points, including two aces, 10 kills, one block, and seven digs, while senior RaeAnne Feeko had six points (two aces), 18 setter assists, two kills, one block and 10 digs, and senior Audi Zorn had six points (two aces), six kills, four blocks, and 15 digs.

Junior Jade Keaty had seven points and five digs in the win, while senior Alyson Chamberlain had four points, 10 assists, and six digs, and sophomore Vida Rossi had two points, nine kills, and four sigs.

Lydiah Decker had three points (three aces), and 12 digs for the Tigers, while junior Peyton Black recorded two kills, two blocks, and three digs, junior Vanessa Tunnicliff added two assists and one block, and junior Mary Divers chipped in with two digs.

Tioga hosts Edison Thursday.

JV — Trumansburg 2, Tioga 0: Trumansburg won the junior varsity match by scores of 25-16 and 25-20. Tioga won an exhibition set, 25-20. 

Kate Kithcart led Tioga with 13 points, including five aces, five kills, one block, nine assists, and three digs, while Iris Lynch had six assists, two kills, one block, and five digs, and Riley Butler had four points and two assists.

Aniya Ammerman had three points and 11 digs for the Tigers, while Courtney Smith had three points, two kills, and three digs, Lizzie Seck registered seven kills, Lillie Harmatuk added four digs, and Kaylynne Miller and Kendra Hale chipped in with two assists apiece.
