North Penn-Mansfield senior Andy Hermansen punched his ticket to the PIAA Boys Golf Championships, and Wellsboro junior Lauren Kosek won the NTL Cross Country Invite. They are The Sports Reports / Ziff Law Firm Regional "Athletes of the Week," for the week ending Oct. 11.

NP-MANSFIELD'S HERMANSEN NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM REGIONAL BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"
Hermansen, who had the fourth best scoring average in the NTL during the regular season, came from well off the pace to win the District 4, Class AA championships.

After shooting an 81 on Day 1, Hermansen was five strokes off the lead, and in eighth place.

On Day 2, Hermansen fired a 68, with four birdies, including on the last two holes, for the District title and a trip to States.

WELLSBORO'S KOSEK NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM REGIONAL GIRLS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"
Kosek cruised to individual gold at the NTL Coaches XC Invitational, clocking in with a time of 18:24.1.

Kosek has won a number of invitationals this season, including a win at the Owego Night Invite.
