NTL VOLLEYBALL: ATHENS SWEEPS NEB FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN (2025-10-18)
Valley Sports ReportROME, Pa. — Athens swept past Northeast Bradford for its third straight win here Saturday afternoon in NTL volleyball action.
The Wildcats, now 5-10, won by scores of 25-15, 25-13, and 25-6.
"It was a fantastic team effort by all," said Athens coach Heather Darrow. "We had great energy and focus today working on shot selection."
Kayla Forbes led Athens with 7 service aces, 12 serve-receptions, and 14 digs, while junior Meg Wiles had four aces and 16 setter assists, and sophomore Ellie Mosher registered five aces, 11 kills, and three digs.
Junior Hannah Parrish had three aces, three kills, and seven digs in the win, while sophomore Lainey Vosburg had three aces, seven digs, and seven serve-receptions, junior Ella Raynor had four kills and three digs, senior Regan McDaniel chipped in with two aces, and junior Emma Mallare added two kills.
Athens returns to action Tuesday night when it hosts crosstown rival Sayre.
