DISTRICT 4 VOLLEYBALL: ATHENS, SAYRE OPEN POSTSEASON ON THE ROAD MONDAY (2025-10-24)

THE VALLEY — Athens and Sayre will open the District 4 volleyball playoffs Monday on the road, although one has a much longer bus ride than the other.

CLASS 3A
Athens (7-11) is the second seed in the Class 3A playoffs, and will face third-seed Shamokin at Danville at 7 p.m.

The Wildcats' match will follow the other semifinal match-up between top-seeded Danville and fourth-seeded Midd-West.

The finals are set for Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Williamsport High School.

CLASS A
Sayre (9-9) is the second and will face third-seeded East Juniata at 5 p.m. at Athens Area High School.

The Redskins' contest will be followed by the other semi-final match-up between top-seeded Canton and fourth-seeded Sugar Valley Rural Charter.

The finals are set for Thursday at 5 p.m. at Athens.
