IAC BOWLING: SLATER LEADS TIOGA BOYS TO SWEEP OF TIOGA; LADY TIGERS ALSO WIN, 4-0 (November 26, 2025)

WAVERLY — Tioga's Nick Slater started the season with a bang, leading the Tigers to a sweep of Watkins Glen Tuesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action, while the Lady Tigers also notched a sweep here at the Valley Bowling Center.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Watkins Glen 0

Slater banged out a 679 series on games of 238, 216, and 225 to lead the Tigers to a 2,553 to 2,201 total-pinfall win.

Tioga won the opening game 846-713, then followed it up with wins of 833-762, and 874-726.

Charles Holmes shot a 574, including games of 204 and 212, for Tioga, and Kris Swagger had a 463.

Skyler Nelson had a 405 for the Tigers, while Aaron Belles added a 399, and Carter Allen chipped in with a 152.

Kris Burke led Watkins Glen with a 511 and Brett Cullen Pike added a 507.

GIRLS
Tioga 4, Watkins Glen 0

Kelsey Helmich led Tioga to a 2,159 to 1,145 total pinfall win over the short-handed Lake Hawks.

Helmich rolled a 527 series, while Liberty Magner shot a 475, and Sabrina Ellis had a 458.

Kate Bleiler had a 384 for Tioga, while Kelsey Ellis added a 287, and Madison Joyce chipped in with a 286.

Faith White led Watkins Glen with a 360.

Tioga returns to action Dec. 4 when it hosts Candor.
