COLLEGE WRESTLING: TIOGA GRAD BELLIS FINISHES EIGHTH AT KEYSTONE CLASSIC (November 30, 2025)

Caden Bellis, a freshman on the Division I Penn wrestling team, bounced back from an opening-round loss to finish eighth here at the Keystone Classic.
Michigan State senior Connor O'Neill scored a takedown late in the third period to seal a 7-2 win over Bellis in the opening-round of the 174-pound bracket.
Bellis bounced back to win three in a row. He started with a pin of Edinburg's Jackson Koppers in 1:56, and followed that up with a 5-3 win over former N.Y. State scholastic medalist and current teammate Liam Carlin in the first consolation round-of-eight.
In the second round-of-eight, Bellis scored three takedowns in an 11-3 winner over Penn junior Lance Urban.
In the first consolation round-of-4, Bellis scored the first takedown midway through the first period, but dropped a 9-4 decision to Lock Haven senior Avery Bassett.
In the seventh-place match, O'Neill scored a reversal and two ear-fall points in the final eight seconds to pull out a 4-1 win over Bellis.
Bellis is 6-5 on the season.
Penn, 2-0, returns to action Dec. 22 when it hosts Virginia.
