NTL GIRLS SOCCER: ATHENS' PATTON, NICHOLS EARN FIRST-TEAM ALL-LEAGUE HONORS; TWO TEAMMATES EARN SECOND-TEAM KUDOS (December 3, 2025)

Delanie Patton and
Brinley Nichols were named first-team NTL girls soccer all-stars, and a pair of their teammates earned second-team honors in recent voting by the league's coaches.
Athens seniors
Abby Burgess and
Elizabeth Denlinger were named to the second team.
Troy's Alexis McRoberts was named the NTL "Player of the Year," while NP-Mansfield's Brooke Wilcox was the "Offensive Player of the Year," and Wellsboro's Jadyn Dunlap was the "Defensive Player of the Year."
Troy's Wayne Pratt and his staff were named "Coaching Staff of the Year."
FIRST TEAM
Delanie Pattion, junior, Athens: Fast, with great foot skills and a sky-high soccer IQ, Patton led the Wildcats with 12 goals, and also had three assists.
Brinley Nichols, junior, Athens: A heady defender with great skills, Nichols was also a factor in the offensive end with four goals and a team-high five assists.
SECOND TEAM
Abby Burgess, senior, Athens: Fast and tenacious, Burgess scored 6 goals for the Wildcats.
Elizabeth Denlinger, senior, Athens: A heady player who was not afraid of contact, Denlinger played a major role in the Wildcat midfield. She had one assist on the season.
