NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: SAYRE FALLS AT SULLIVAN COUNTY, 43-15 (December 8, 2025)

LAPORTE — Sullivan County took control immediately, and steadily pulled away for a 43-15 win over Sayre here Monday night in non-league girls basketball action.

The Griffins led 13-2 after the first quarter, and used a 12-3 second-quarter run to take a 25-5 lead into the halftime break.

Sullivan County added to its lead with a 17-4 third-quarter blitz that made it 42-9 heading into the final eight minutes..

Senior Rylee Lantz led Sayre with nine points, 10 rebounds, four steals, and two blocked shots, while sophomore McKenna Parrish added four points, senior Olivia Thompson had four steals and three assists, and sophomore Emily Strickland had four rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot.

Sayre, now 0-2, returns to action Wednesday at home against Towanda.
