IAC BOWLING: TIOGA GIRLS MANAGE SPLIT WITH LANSING; TIOGA BOYS SWEPT (December 9, 2025)

WAVERLY — The Tioga girls managed a split with Lansing Tuesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action, while the Tiger boys were swept here at the Valley Bowling Center.

GIRLS
Tioga 2, Lansing 2

Lansing pulled out wins by seven pins in the first game, and 10 pins in the third game. In between, Tioga won the second game 699-542 for a total-pinfall victory of 1,845 to 1,705.

Kelsey Helmich led the Tigers with a 479 series, while Sabrina Ellis rolled a 398, and Kate Bleiler shot a 369.

Kelsey Ellis had a 307 for Tioga, while Madison Joyce added a 292 and Mariah Watkins tacked on a 265.

Mikela Peak led Lansing with a 385 series.

BOYS
Lansing 4, Tioga 0

The Bobcats won the total-pinfall point by a count of 2,774 to 2,526.

Nick Slater led the Tigers with a 565 series, including games of 211 and 203, while Kris Swagger shot a 542, and Charles Holmes rolled a 489.

Austin Mumbulo had a 480 for Tioga, while Markel Watkins added a 450, and Aaron Belles tacked on a 414.

Tioga returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Union Springs at the Valley Bowling Center.
