IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: O-M RIDES STRONG START TO 53-26 WIN OVER TIOGA (December 16, 2025)

ODESSA — O-M standout Leah Antes had a monster first quarter to lead O-M to an early double-digit lead on its way a 53-26 win over Tioga here Tuesday evening in IAC Small School girls basketball action.

Antes knocked down a 3-pointer in the opening minutes of the and was 8-for-8 from the free-throw in the opening stanza. She scored 15 points to help the Grizzlies to an 18-6 lead.

The Tigers played its best eight minutes of the night in the second quarter with Kaylah Nelson knocking down a pair of 3-pointers and Irie Lynch also connecting from behind the arc. 

Tioga only managed to trim one point from its deficit, outscoring O-M, 13-12, to close the gap to 30-19 at the half.

Antes opened the second half with a 3-pointer and finished third quarter with seven points, while Olivia Barr banged home a pair of treys in a 13-4 run that gave the Grizzlies a 43-23 lead entering the final eight minutes.

Kate Kithcart led Tioga with nine points, while Lynch scored seven points, and Nelson added six points, six rebounds and two steals

Lydiah Decker chipped in with four points and four rebounds for the Tigers, while Bailey Delmage grabbed four boards, and Adrienne Delmage had three rebounds.

Antes led O-M with 27 points, including three 3-pointers, and Brooklyn Thompson added nine points.

Tioga, now 0-4, hosts Newfield Friday.
