NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: WYALUSING ERUPTS FOR 63 FIRST-HALF POINTS IN ROUT OF SAYRE (December 18, 2025)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing exploded for 63 points in the first half on its way to an 89-23 rout of Sayre here Thursday night in NTL boys basketball action.

Tyler Caplan pumped in 12 points and Myles Kershner added 10 points in the first quarter to fuel a 36-13 Wyalusing blitz.

Tyrese Gamby led Sayre with seven points, including a 3-pointer, in the opening stanza.

The Rams continued their onslaught in the second quarter with a 27-5 run to take a 63-18 lead at the halftime break.

Gamby led Sayre with eight points, while senior Carter Bleiler added six points on a pair of 3-pointers, and junior Declan Barry chipped in with four points.

Sayre, now 0-6, returns to action Tuesday at Williamson.
