PHILADELPHIA — Tioga grad Caden Bellis, a freshman on the University of Pennsylvania wrestling team, picked up a key early victory here Monday to help the Quakers to a 24-16 win over Virginia in non-league wrestling action.

Wrestling at 174 pounds, Bellis scored a 1-0 win over Emmitt Sherlock to give Penn an early 6-3 lead.

Bellis improves to 3-0 in duals this season, and 7-5 on the season.
