Logan Bellis excelled on both sides of the ball, leading the Tigers to another state title. He is the 2025

Bellis, despite weighing in at 130ish pounds, was a workhorse back for the Tigers.
On the season, he rushed for 2,272 yards and 31 TDs (9.16 yards per carry), and 19 two-point conversion runs. He also had five catches for 64 yards, and one TD.
In five postseason games, Bellis ran for 1,090 yards and 16 TDs on 124 carries. He also 11 2-point conversions, and rushed for a state championship game record five TDs.
Defensively, Bellis had 66 tackles, including 29 solo stops, one tackle-for-loss, one forced fumble, and two interceptions.

Zach Fisher, junior, Athens: Fisher was a key cog in successful soccer and football seasons for the Wildcats.
On the pitch, Fisher played a leading role in the Wildcats' trip to the District 4, Class 3A championship game. He recorded 102 saves, and allowed just nine goals in 19 games. He had 12 clean sheets this season, including a pair of 0-0 ties. He also had four 1-0 losses on the season.
On the gridiron, Fisher made nearly 90 percent of his extra points.
Eli Hicks, sophomore, Athens golf: A state qualifier, Hicks led the NTL with a 79.2 scoring average, including a low round of 75.
He finished fifth at the NTL Championships with an 81, and was second at the District 4 Championships with a two-day total of 152 (74-78) to earn his trip to States. Hicks was the Day 1 leader at Districts, and finished 1 shot off the lead.
Ben Shaw, junior, Waverly football: Playing quarterback and middle linebacker is not a common combination of positions for football players, but Shaw excels at both.
Shaw completed 62.3 percent (91 of 146) of his passes for 1,334 yards and nine TDs, while being picked off seven times. He also rushed for 261 yards and a team-high 10 TDs.
Defensively, he registered 165 tackles in 11 games, including 75 solo stops. He also had four tackles-for-loss and four QB sacks, as well as one interception, one pass break-up, and one fumble recovery.
Connor Davidson, junior, Athens football: Davidson was the definition of a dual-threat QB for the Wildcats.
Davidson completed 57.5 percent (96 of 167) for 1,706 yards and 22 TDs, including a school-record six TDs in a game. He was intercepted five times.
He also ran for 850 yards and 11 TDs on 111 carries in nine games.
Brenden Comstock, senior, Athens football: A mainstay on the Wildcats offensive line, Comstock made his bones on the defensive side of the ball.
He had 89 tackles, including 44 solo stops, 14 tackles-for-loss, and four QB sacks. He also forced three fumbles and broke up three passes.
Dominic Palmer, junior, Tioga football: Palmer was a two-way standout for the Tigers, prone to making the big play on both sides of the ball.
Possessing good size and good hands, Palmer was dangerous in the Tioga's ground game and limited aerial attack. He rushed for 182 yards and two TDs on 15 carries, and caught nine passes for 188 yards and three TDs.
On defense, Palmer recorded 86 tackles, including 22 solo stops. He had seven QB sacks, four tackles-for-loss, and one fumble recovery.
