SECTION IV WINTER TRACK & FIELD: TIOGA'S ALBRECHT WINS POLE VAULT, PLACES IN TWO OTHER EVENTS AT QUINNEY INVITE (7 PHOTOS)(January 3, 2026) Valley Sports Report ITHACA — Tioga senior Gavin Albrecht won the pole vault and placed in two other events here Saturday afternoon at the Quinney Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Cornell University.
Albrecht, the reigning outdoor state pole vault champ, won the pole vault, clearing the bar at 13-feet, 6-inches.
Albrecht placed fourth in the 55-meter dash in a time of 6.76 seconds, and finished sixth in the long jump with a leap of 20-feet, 3/4-inches.
