HALFMOON, N.Y. — Senior Jayden Duncanson and junior Declan McKee won individual titles as did freshman Liamm Comstock and senior Brayden MacWhinnie here Saturday at the Journeymen "Armbar at the Armory."

Duncanson and McKee won titles in the premier Yellow pools, while Comstock and MacWhinnie won Blue pool titles.

Sophomore Mark McCane and freshman Parker Jackson recorded second-place finishes, while senior Logan Bellis finished third, sophomore Drayke Ulrich finished fourth, and senior Kadin Cole and 8th-grader Carson LaBour were fifth-place finishers.

Duncanson went 4-0 to win the 138-pound Yellow pool.

Duncanson opened with a 16-0 technical fall in 6:00 over Monroe-Woodbury's Caleb Brown, then received a forfeit from Shenendehowa's Ryan Ivy.

Duncanson recorded another technical fall in his next bout, blanking Cicero-North Syracuse's Kasey Kalfass 16-0 in 3:52.

In the first-place match, Duncanson forged a 9-0 major decision over Iona Prep's Shane Degl.

McKee went 3-0 to win the 110-pound Yellow pool.

After receiving a forfeit in the opening round, McKee scored an 18-6 major decision over Cicero-North Syracuse's Grady Ellsworth.

McKee closed out his day with a 16-4 major decision over Ryan Bozelli of Garden City.

Comstock went 3-0 to win the 118-pound Blue pool.

Comstock won his two pool matches, knocking off Garden City's Peter Winter, 10-4, then forging a 20-2 technical fall in 3:45 against Little Falls' Logan Dingman.

In the first-place match, Comstock built a 13-0 advantage before pinning CBA's Matt Daus.

MacWhinnie was 3-1 to win the 132-pound Blue pool.

MacWhinnie opened with a pin of Little Falls' Caiden Perkov in 1:52, then dropped a 6-4 decision to Garden City's Eric Chen, who also finished 3-1.

MacWhinnie finished off his day with a 38-second fall over Monroe Woodbury's Brandon Lexandra, and a 79-second pin of Glenns Falls' Caleb Burbo, who also finished 3-1.

Burbo scored a pin of Chen in 4:41, erasing a 14-3 deficit at the time.

McCane was 2-1 to finish second in the 285-pound Yellow pool.

In his first bout, McCane led Monroe-Woodbury's Dom Cantos, 2-1, when Cantos was injured and unable to resume the match.

McCane followed that up with eighth takedowns in a 25-12 win over Little Falls' Clark Rodger.

In his final bout, McCane dropped a 10-1 major decision to CBA's Nic Mello.

Jackson was 2-1 to finish second in the 110-pound Blue pool.

Jackson dropped a 10-1 major decision to Little Falls' Nick Perry in his first bout, but bounced back with a 53-second fall of Byram Hills' Mason Mastrosimone.

Jackson closed out his day with a pin of Byram Hills' Liam Denizer in 3:09. He led 14-7 at the time.

Bellis was 3-1 to finish third in the 118-pound Yellow pool.

Bellis dropped an 11-3 major decision to Iona's Dorian Hidalgo in his first outing of the day, but rebounded with a 15-0 technical fall in 3:16 against West Genesee's Cole Willis.

Bellis then scored an early takedown in a 4-0 win over Waverly's Avery Bowman.

In the third-place match, Bellis topped Shenandehowa's Dylan Green in a 10-4 decision.

Ulrich was 2-2 and finished fourth in the 103-pound Yellow pool.

Ulrich won his first two matches, forging a 6-1 decision over Baden City's James DeRosa, and scoring a 17-0 technical fall of Little Falls' Carson Logalbo in 4:33.

After losing via fall to pool champ Evan Gomez of Valley Central, Ulrich dropped a 6-2 decision to Valley Central's Dominic Giannoni in the third-place match.

Cole went 2-2 to finish fifth in the 126-pound Yellow pool.

Cole dropped his first two bouts, losing via technical fall to Christian Brothers Academy's Luca Popolizio, and by major decision to Byram Hllls' Nick Fortugno.

He rebounded to win his final pool match with an 11-3 major decision over Glens Falls' Kaden Chamberlain.

In the fifth-place match, Cole registered a 15-0 technical fall in 2:13 against Valley Central's Ian Gentles.

LaBour was 1-3 to finish fifth in the 175-pound Yellow pool. His lone win a pin of Monroe-Woodbury's Ford Hayes in 1:33. 

LaBour dropped a 25-9 technical fall to Cicero-North Syracuse's Bryce Watson in the sixth-place match.

Junior James Howey was 1-2 in the 190-pound Yellow bracket. His lone win was pin of Byram Hills' Thomas Penriello. Howey trailed 15-4 midway through the second period, and 16-14 at the time of the fall.

Senior Aiden Black was 1-2 in the 165-pound Blue pool. His lone win was a 1-0 decision over Cicero-North Syracuse's Carlos About.

Jamie Woodcock was 1-2 in the 190-pound Blue pool, with his lone win a 6-3 overtime decision over Valley Central's Walker Henry.

Freshman Harold Corby was 1-3 to finish seventh in the 103-pound Yellow pool. His lone with was a pin of Logalbo in 3:07 in the seventh-place match.

Junior Caden Bradley was 0-4 in the 144-pound Yellow pool, including a 9-8 loss to Byram Hills' Robbie Barbuto, and a 5-4 overtime loss to Little Falls' Nate Verri.

Tioga returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Newark Valley.
