WINTER TRACK & FIELD: LARRABEE, ROSKOW, CHANDLER LEAD WAVERLY'S EFFORTS AT WINTER CLASSIC (January 10, 2026)

CORTLAND — Seniors Haley Larrabee and Logan Roskow, and sophomore Jaxon Chandler had the best finishes of the day for Waverly at the Winter Track & Field Classic here Saturday at SUNY Cortland.

BOYS
Roskow finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 57.05 seconds, and senior Hayden Howe was 10th in 58.62 seconds.

Sophomore Jaxon Chandler placed fourth in he high jump, clearing the bar at 5-feet, 5-inches. He finished fifth in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 9.4 seconds

Junior Jayden Washington finished eighth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:14.06

Senior Aiden Doherty finished eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 31-feet, 9-inches, and sophomore Isaac Voorhees was 12th at 21-feet, 3-inches.

Doherty finished 10th in the shot put with a heave of 35-feet, 9 3/4-inches, and Voorhees was 23rd at 27-feet, 10 3/4-inches.

Sophomore Connor Bentley finished ninth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.92 seconds

Junior Chase Hine was 10th in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:20.33, and sophomore Garrett Akins was 24th in 6:11.75.

Senior Andrew Larrabee finished 15th in the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.48 seconds.

GIRLS
Haley Larrabee placed fourth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:09.59, and sophomore Addison Temple was eighth in 1:12.45.

Senior Mackenzie Chamberlain placed fifth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:57.28, and junior Taylor Sinsabaugh was ninth in 6:33.84.

Freshman Anna Fassett finished fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 22-feet, 7-inches, and senior Madison Cron was sixth at 22-feet, 5-inches.

Cron finished ninth in the shot put with a heave of 21-feet, 3 1/2-inches, and  Fassett was 10th at 21-feet, 3-inches.

Sophomore Miah Correll finished ninth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:54.09.

Sophomore Tressa Allen finished 12th in the 55-meter dash in a time of 8.57 seconds. 

Allen was 14th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 31.28 seconds, Temple was 18th in 32.03 seconds.

Freshman Blake Norton finished 13th in the long jump at 10-feet, 8-inches.

Waverly returns to action Friday afternoon at the Hurley Invitational at Ithaca College.
