NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON ROLLS TO 46-14 WIN OVER SAYRE (January 12, 2026)
Valley Sports ReportSAYRE — Williamson jumped ahead early and rolled to a 46-14 win over Sayre here Monday night in NTL Small School Division girls basketball action.
The Warriors limited Sayre to four points — buckets by senior Rylee Lantz and freshman Hailey Sanderson — and led 11-4 after the first quarter, then extended its lead to 25-5 at the half with an 11-1 second-quarter blitz.
Williamson kept it up in the second half, outscoring Sayre, 9-4, in the third quarter, and closing the game with a 15-5 run.
Lantz led Sayre with six points, 18 rebounds, six steals, and four blocked shots, while sophomore McKenna Parrish added three points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals, senior Olivia Thompson had four rebounds and seven steals, and sophomore Brooklyn Roberts chipped in with four boards and one blocked shot.
Bailey Snyder led Williamson with 12 points, while Kenna Thomas scored 11, and Alex Sprague added nine.
Sayre returns to action Wednesday at North Penn-Liberty.
