THE VALLEY — It's a very busy day in the Valley, with three afternoon boys basketball games — at Athens, Sayre, and Waverly — and the biggest wrestling match in New York State as Tioga invades Waverly in a battle of the top-two ranked teams in the state.

BOYS WRESTLING
Tioga (5-0) at Waverly (11-2), 6:30 p.m.: Waverly is ranked No. 1 in Division 2 in New York State, while Tioga is No. 2.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Towanda at Athens, 1 p.m. JV start
Canton at Sayre, 1 p.m. JV start
Seton Catholic at Waverly, 1:45 p.m. JV start

GIRLS WRESTLING
Athens at Coal Cracker Invite, 9 a.m. @ Jim Thorpe H.S.: Athens, which leads the team standings, advanced six wrestlers into today's quarterfinals, and has five alive in the consolation bracket.

SWIMMING
Athens at Tunkhannock Invite, 11 a.m.
