NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON ROLLS PAST SAYRE (January 29, 2026)

Valley Sports Report
TIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson held Sayre scoreless in the first half on its way to a 42-11 win here Thursday night in NTL Small School girls basketball action.

The Warriors led 10-0 after the first eight minutes, and 19-0 at the halftime intermission.

Senior Rylee Lantz scored four points in the third quarter, and sophomore McKenna Parrish added a 3-pointer as the Redskins played Williamson even in the third quarter, and trailed 28-9 heading into the final eight minutes.

The Warriors closed the game with a 14-2 blitz in the final stanza.

Lantz led Sayre with four points and 15 rebounds, while Parrish added three points, two rebounds and two steals, and freshman Allia Bennett hauled down six boards and blocked one shot.

Sophomore Brooklyn Roberts added five rebounds and three steals for the Redskins, while freshman Hailey Sanderson pulled down four rebounds, and senior Harley Brown chipped in with three boards.

Sayre returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Cowanesque Valley.
