IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: O-M TOPS TIOGA, 41-33 (16 PHOTOS) (January 30, 2026)

TIOGA CENTER — Odessa-Montour took control of a close game with a big third quarter on its way to a 41-33 win over Tioga here Friday night in IAC South Small School girls basketball action.

The first time these two teams met, the Grizzlier won on their home court, 53-28.

O-M jumped out to a 14-7 lead after the opening stanza, but Kate Kithcart and Lydiah Decker scored four points apiece in the second quarter as Tioga used an 11-9 advantage in the stanza to close the gap to 23-18 at the half.

Brooke Burns scored four of her eight points in the third quarter, and Olivia Barr knocked down a 3-pointer for her only points of the game to fuel O-M's 13-4 run in the third quarter that pushed the lead to 36-22 entering the final eight minutes.

Irie Lynch canned a 3-pointer and scored five pints in the thirty quarter as Tioga used an 11-5 spurt to close the gap to eight points.

Lynch led Tioga with 17 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, and Kithcart scored eight points and hauled down nine rebounds. 

Decker had six points, two steals and one blocked shot for the Tigers, while Kayla Nelson added six boards and three steals, and Adrienne Delmage grabbed four boards and blocked one shot.

Leah Antes led O-M with 17 points.

Tioga returns to action Tuesday at Newfield.
