IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: TIOGA FALLS TO STATE-RANKED UNION SPRINGS IN SEASON FINALE (February 10, 2026)

TIOGA CENTER — State-ranked Union Springs pulled away in the second quarter and rolled to a 59-15 win over Tioga here Thursday night in IAC Large School girls basketball crossover action.

Union Springs led 10-2 after the first quarter, then used an 18-6 run in the second quarter to take a 28-8 lead into the halftime intermission.

The Wolves put to rest any doubts with a 15-0 third-quarter blitz to extend its lead to 43-8 heading into the final eight minutes.

Kaylah Nelson led Tioga with six points on 3-for-3 shooting from the field and three rebounds, while Irie Lynch added a 3-pointer and two boards, Kate Kithcart pulled down five rebounds, and Kaylynne Miller and Adrienne Delmage each grabbed four rebounds.

Tioga wraps up the 2025-26 campaign at 0-17.
