ATHENS' SCHULTZ, TIOGA'S PALMER NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION BOYS "ATHLETES OF THE WEEK"Schultz averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2 steals per game in three Athens wins. He also knocked down seven 3-pointers.
Schultz had 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in a win over Wellsboro. He followed it with 22 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, 10 rebounds, one assist, and two steals in a win over North Penn-Mansfield.
Schultz finished off his week with 27 points, including four 3-pointers, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals in a win at Troy.
Palmer averaged 20.7 points and 7.7 rebounds in three games for the Tigers.
Dominic Palmer led Tioga with 21 points and five rebounds in a 55-52 loss to Newfield, then had 21 points and 11 rebounds in a win over S-VE.
Palmer finished off his week with 20 points and seven rebounds in a win over Dryden.

WAVERLY'S JUDSON, ATHENS' PANEK NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION GIRLS "ATHLETES OF THE WEEK"Judson averaged 19.5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in two games for the Wolverines. She also had five 3-pointers.
Judson led Waverly with 19 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, three rebounds and two assists in 61-51 win over Oneonta
She had 20 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, three rebounds, and two steals in a loss to state-ranked Forks
Panek had four top-four finishes, including a pair of second-place individual finishes at the 19-team Coaches Invite.
Panek placed second in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.75 seconds and was second in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 57.02 seconds.
She also swam on the third-place 200 free relay and the fourth-place 400 relay.
