IAC BOYS BASKETBALL: TIOGA FALLS AT WATKINS GLEN, 56-37 (February 14, 2026)

WATKINS GLEN — Tioga led early, but Watkins Glen surged ahead in the middle two quarters on its way to a 56-37 win here Saturday afternoon in IAC boys basketball action.

Juniors Jackson Bombard and Gavin Kithcart combined for all nine of Tioga's first-quarter points to lead the Tigers to a 9-7 lead after the opening eight minutes.

The Lake Hawks poor first-quarter shooting turned around in the second quarter as a trio of 3-pointers sparked a 15-7 run that put them up 22-16 at the half.

Jude Santos scored 11 of his 13 points in the third quarter, and Dominic Lewis, who knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the second quarter, made two more treys to fuel a 21-10 run that extended the Lake Hawk lead to 43-26 heading into the final eight minutes.

Kithcart led Tioga with 17 point and four rebounds, while Bombard had 12 points and two assists, and senior Dominic Palmer added eight points and eight rebounds.

Tioga, now 9-10, wraps up the regular season Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. when it hosts Groton.
