IAC GIRLS BOWLING: HELMICH LEADS LADY TIGERS TO TEAM TITLE AT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS (February 14, 2026)

WAVERLY — Kelsey Helmich banged out a 600 series to lead Tioga to a first-place finish at the IAC Girls Bowling Championships here Saturday at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Tigers amassed 2,416 pins to edge out runner-up Newark Valley by 10 pins, while third-place Candor had 2,339, and fourth-place Lansing had 2,013.

Helmich rolled games of 184, 194, and 244 for a 622 series, and Kate Bleiler shot a 457.

Kelsey Ellis and Liberty Magner rolled match 456 series for the Tigers and Sabrina Ellis added a 425.

Tioga will return to action Friday afternoon at Section IV Championships at Midway Lanes in Vestal.
