THE VALLEY — Postseason basketball tips off South of the Border tonight with eighth-seeded Sayre traveling to top-seeded Northeast Bradford in the opening round of the District 4, Class AA boys basketball playoffs.

The Redskins enter the contest at 3-19, and riding an eight-game losing streak to end the regular season, including a 79-35 loss to Blue Ridge in the finale.

The Panthers are 19-3, finishing the regular-season on a 12-game win streak. They dropped a 56-32 decision to Athens Thursday in the semifinals of the NTL Showdown.

Sayre and NEB met twice during the regular season with NEB winning the first at Sayre, 72-26, and the second at home, 77-24, just 12 days ago.

Game time is 7 p.m.
