MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: ATHENS GRAD BABCOCK WRAPS UP SENIOR SEASON AT ELMIRA COLLEGE (March 4, 2026)

J.J. Babcock started all 25 games in his senior season at Elmira College, and averaged 6.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Babcock scored in double-figures five times, and pulled down double-digit rebounds five times. He recorded three double-doubles on the season, and one game with nine points and nine rebounds.
Babcock's best game of the season was a 13-point, season-high 15-rebound effort, in which he also had five assists, three blocked shots, and one steal. The Soaring Eagles beat Penn College, 96-95.
He also had a season-high 15 points and 10 rebounds in an 80-77 loss at Russell Sage.
In his final collegiate game, Babcock scored six points, dished out a career-high seven assists, and had two steals in a 103-91 loss to Keuka College.
On the season, Babcock averaged 6.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and a career-high 2.7 assists per game, while playing 24.2 minutes per game. He also had 27 blocked shots, a career-high 19 3-pointers, and 15 steals.
For his career, Babcock, who played in 90 games and started 72 of them, averaged 8.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. He also had 99 blocked shots, 60 steals, and 43 3-pointers.
Babcock scored 738 points, pulled down 584 rebounds, and dished out 201 assists in his career at Elmira College.
