NTL SOFTBALL: NEB BLANKS SAYRE, 10-0, IN FIVE INNINGS (March 31, 2026)

ROME, Pa. — Northeast Bradford scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and that was more than enough in a 10-0 five-inning win over Sayre here Tuesday afternoon in NTL Small School Division softball action.

Leading 3-0, the Panthers added three more runs in each of the second and fourth innings, before finishing off the game via the 10-run rule with one run in the bottom of the fifth.

Emily Strickland doubled and Jade Roberts singled to account for Sayre's two hits.

Zoey Ward was tagged with the loss for the Redskins, allowing six earned runs in 4 2/3 innings, while striking out one and walking none.

Madalyn Callear earned the win for NEB, allowing one hit in four innings, while striking out three and walking one.

Sayre, now 0-4, returns to action Thursday at Cowanesque Valley.
