IAC SOFTBALL: KITHCART SPINS 5-INNING PERFECT GAME IN 24-0 WIN OVER MARATHON (April 6, 2026)

CORTLAND — Freshman Kate Kithcart and received plenty of run support in Tioga's 24-0 five-inning win over Marathon here Monday afternoon in IAC crossover softball action at the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex.

Kithcart, who struck out the final seven batter she faced, retired all 15 Marathon hitters to step to the plate, including 13 by strikeout.

The Tigers rapped out 17 hits in the win, including nine extra-base hit, three of which were inside-the-park home runs.

Tioga scored three runs in the first inning, six in the second, and then poured nine across the plate in the third inning to take an 18-0 lead.

RaeAnne Feeko was 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, two stolen bases, four runs scored and five RBI to pace Tioga at the plate, while Lilly Mezzatesta doubled twice, scored one run, and drove in four runs, and Nelson homered and tripled, scored one run, and knocked in two runs.

Kithcart singled twice, stole two bases, scored four runs and had three RBI in the win, while Tunnicliff homered and doubled, scored one runs, and drove in three runs, and Mya Freese doubled and singled, scored one and knocked in one run.

Olivia Shugars singled, scored two runs, and drove in two runs for the Tigers, while Madalyn Rogers singled, stole three bases, and scored four runs, Irie Lynch singled, stole two bases, and scored two runs, Bri Lounsbury scored three runs and knocked in one run, and Cheyenne Moyers had one RBI.

Tioga returns to action Wednesday at home against Union Springs.
