SECTION IV GIRLS GOLF: SILEO, HUNT LEAD WAVERLY TO WINS OVER VESTAL, M-E (April 14, 2026)

VESTAL — Sophia Sileo and Addison Hunt both broke 50 to lead Waverly to wins over Maine-Endwell and Vestal here Tuesday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at Vestal Hills Golf Course.

Sileo shot a 48 and Hunt carded a 49 to lead the Wolverines to a four-player aggregate score of 207, while Vestal had a 214, and Maine-Endwell carded a 228.

Olivia Cheresnowsky shot a 53 for the Wolverines, and Emilia Mitchell added a 57. Alaina Nichols tacked on a non-scoring round of 62.

Vestal's Allison Yoon earned low-medal honors with a 44, and Cameron Salmon led M-E with a 54.

Waverly, now 4-2, hosts Horseheads Thursday at Tomasso's Golf Course.
