IAC GOLF: BOMBARD, KITHCART LEAD TIOGA TO WIN OVER S-VE (April 22, 2026)

WAVERLY — Juniors Gavin Kithcart and Jackson Bombard shared low-medal honors and led Tioga to a 174-191 win over Spencer-VanEtten here Wednesday afternoon in IAC boys action at The Club at Shepard Hills.

Bombard, who had birdies on the par-4 second hole and the par-5 ninth hole, and Kithcart, who birdied the par-5 fifth hole, both shot rounds of 39 on the par-37 front nine at Shepard Hills.

Sophomore Drayke Ulrich and Owen Parker both shot rounds of 48 for the Tigers, and senior Owen Seaver and junior Declan McKee aded non-scoring rounds of 50.

A.J. Shoemaker led S-VE with a 41, and Chris Kobre added a 45.

Tioga, now 5-0, will take on Groton at Stone Hedges Golf Course Thursday.
