IAC BOYS GOLF: GROTON HANDS TIOGA FIRST LOSS OF SEASON (April 23, 2026)

GROTON — All four of unbeaten Groton's scorers shot 43 or better to hand Tioga its first loss of the season in a 163-174 decision here Thursday afternoon in IAC boys golf action at Stone Hedges Golf Course.

Tristin Weeks shot a 39 to earn low-medal honors for the River Hawks.

Junior Jackson Bombard led Tioga with a 40, and senior Owen Seaver shot a 42.

Owen Parker carded a 44 for the Tigers, while junior Gavin Kithcart and sophomore Drayke Ulrich each shot rounds of 48, and junior Declan McKee tacked on a non-scoring round of 56.

Tioga, now 5-1, returns to action Monday against Marathon at Maple Hills Golf Course.
