THE VALLEY — There's another busy week ahead as the spring schedule hurdles toward May and the end of the 2025-26, but there is rain in the forecast Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

There are 42 events on the schedule this week, including 10 Thursday and eight on Saturday.

The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

MONDAY (7)
•  Waverly flag football hosts Elmira under the lights at Memorial Stadium.

•  Waverly hosts Chenango Valley in STAC boys tennis action.

TUESDAY (7)
•  Sayre hosts Cowanesque Valley for baseball and softball games.

WEDNESDAY (6)
•  Tioga hosts Union Springs at the Tioga Golf Course.

•  Waverly boys tennis hosts Owego in its final home match of the season.

THURSDAY (10)
•  Athens hosts Cowanesque Valley for baseball and softball games.

•  The Waverly girls host Lansing and Corning at Tomasso's Golf Course.

FRIDAY (4)
•  Tioga baseball hosts IAC divisional rival Newfield.

•  Waverly baseball hosts Oneonta.

•  Waverly softball hosts Ithaca.

•  Waverly boys tennis travels to Seton Catholic for its final match of the season.

SATURDAY (8)
•  Athens hosts longtime NTL rival Towanda in baseball and softball games.

•  Waverly flag football hosts Susquehanna Valley.

•  Waverly softball hosts Dryden in the morning and Addison in the afternoon.

•  Waverly hosts Pa. powerhouse Montoursville in non-league baseball action.
