ATHENS' BURGESS NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION GIRLS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Burgess was a quad-winner Tuesday in wins of Williamson, Troy, and NEB. She won the 100-meter dash (12.4 seconds) ad the 200-meter dash (25.88 seconds), and was on winning 400-meter and 1,600-meter relays.
Burgess placed in four events at the Lasagna Invite, leading the Athens girls to a third-place finish in the team standings.
Burgess won the 100 (12.2) and the 200 (25.23), and was on the second-place 400-meter relay, and the seventh-place 1,600 relay.

WAVERLY'S AULT NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Ault hit .556 and earned a win on the mound to help the Wolverines to a 3-0 week.
Ault had five hits in nine at-bats with three doubles, one home run, four runs scored, and four RBI.
On the mound, Ault tossed five shutout innings in a 5-0 win over Chenango Valley. He allowed three hits, while striking out six and walking two.
