IAC TRACK & FIELD: DOUBLE-WINNER ROSSI PACES TIOGA AT SMALL SCHOOL DIVISIONAL MEET (13 PHOTOS) (May 12, 2026)
Valley Sports ReportODESSA — Sophomore Vida Rossi was a double-winner for the Lady Tigers, and seniors Gavin Albrecht and James Miller notched the boys only wins to pace Tioga here Monday afternoon at the IAC South Small School Divisional track & field meet.
GIRLSRossi won the 100-meter dash in 12.83 seconds, and freshman Grace Howey placed third in 14.23 seconds.
Rossi also won the long jump at 17-feet, 5 3/4-inches.
Freshman Reese Mills won the 3,000-meter run in a time of 12:55.5. She was fifth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 6:03.2.
Sophomore Amber Bennett won the pole vault at 7-feet.
Bennett finished second in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:14.49, and freshman Maren was third in 1:26.76.
Bennett finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 19.95 seconds, and Seaver was fifth in 21.56 seconds.
Junior Sara Prough was fourth in the discus with a toss of 71-feet, 5-inches.
BOYSAlbrecht won the pole vault, clearing the bar at 13-feet, and senior Dominic Palmer was fourth at 9-feet, 6-inches.
Miller won the 400-meter dash in a time of 55.28 seconds. Miller finished second in the 200-meter dash in 25.11 seconds.
Senior Talon Wood was second in the 3,200-meter run in a time of 11:29.0.
Senior Dominic Palmer placed second in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 17.02 seconds.
Junior Markel Watkins was third in the shot put with a heave of 34-feet, 4-inches. He was fifth in the discus at 97-feet, 1-inch.
Palmer finished fourth in the high jump at 5-feet, 4-inches, and Wood was fifth at 5-feet, 4-inches. Palmer was fifth in the long jump at 16-feet, 4-inches.
Tioga wraps up the regular season Wednesday when it hosts Newfield, then will compete in the IAC Championships May 21-22 at Newark Valley.
