THE VALLEY — Saturday features Day 2 of the District 4 Track & Field Championships, Waverly in the STAC baseball and softball championships, and Athens playing the final two regular-season games of the 2026 spring season at the Central Columbia softball tournament.

TRACK & FIELD
District 4 Championships, 10 a.m. @ Milton H.S.: Abby Burgess, who is the 2-seed in the 200-meter dash, qualified for the 100-meter dash finals on Thursday, while senior Lizzie Gorsline qualified for the 100-meter hurdles finals.
Waverly vs. Vestal, 10 1.m. @ Mirabito Field, Binghamton: Maine-Endwell and Horseheads will square off in the other semifinal, with the winners playing for the STAC title at 4 p.m.

SOFTBALL
STAC Semifinals
Waverly vs. Corning, 11 a.m. @ Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park (formerly BAGSAI): Maine-Endwell and Oneonta will square off in the other semifinal, with the winners playing for the STAC title at 1 p.m.

Central Columbia Tournament
Athens vs. Western Wayne, 11 a.m.
Consolation / Championship, 1 p.m.
