SECTION 3 LITTLE LEAGUE (MAJORS): MILTON RIDES BIG INNING TO 10-0 WIN OVER ATHENS IN ELIMINATION GAME (July 20, 2026)

BERWICK — Milton used a seven-run second-inning rally to post a 10-0 four-inning win over Athens here Monday evening in the consolation bracket finals of the Section 3 Little League Baseball Majors Division finals.

Milton scored once in the bottom of the first inning, then extended its lead to 8-0 after two innings.

Two more runs in the third inning made it 10-0 an brought the 10-run "mercy" rule into play.

Milton pitching worked around a pair one-out Athens hits in the top of the fourth to preserve the 10-0 win.

Wyatt Raupers doubled and singled, while Leo Loziere doubled, and Tucker Owens singled to account for Athens' four hits.

Easton Hubbard allowed three runs — one earned — on three hits in 1 1/3 innings of relief, and Raupers struck out one in two-thirds of an inning of relief.
