THE VALLEY — The 2026 season kicks off for five teams Tuesday, and all five teams — Waverly and Tioga girls soccer, Athens volleyball, and the Athens and Sayre cross country teams — open at home.

Athens and Sayre volleyball were both in action Saturday at the Williamson Tournament Saturday, but open their dual seasons in defense of their District 4 championships.

GIRLS SOCCER
Owego at Waverly, 11 a.m.
Marathon at Tioga, 4:30 p.m.

VOLLEYBALL
Troy at Athens, 5:30 p.m. JV start

CROSS COUNTRY
Canton, Towanda, Troy at Athens, 4:30 p.m. @ SRU

BOYS GOLF
Johnson City at Waverly, 11 a.m.
