SAYRE — Sayre bounced back from back-to-back losses earlier this week with a sweep of Galeton here Saturday afternoon in non-league volleyball action.

The Redskins, now 3-4, won by scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-18.

Junior Reghan McGaughey led Sayre with 10 kills and eight digs, while senior Alex Schack had nine kills, seven digs, and three service aces, and junior Grace Russo had nine digs and four aces,

Junior Yhale Done recorded 27 setter assists and one block in the win, while senior Azalea McClenny registered five kills and two aces, and junior Emily Strickland added two aces, two kills, one block, and two digs.

Sayre returns to action Monday at Troy.
