STAC GIRLS SOCCER: CHENANGO FORKS ROLLS OVER WAVERLY, 4-0 (September 24, 2026)

BINGHAMTON — Chenango Forks scored three first-half goals in a dominant 4-0 win over Waverly here Thursday night in STAC girls soccer action.

"Forks is always a solid team," said Waverly coach Tara Hogan. "They may not have a huge roster, but they have depth.

"Our defenders had their hands full with incredibly fast Forks forwards.
  
"Ryleigh Judson did a fantastic job helping support our defenders as an outside mid," noted Hogan.  

"We were beat to almost every ball on the ground and in the air. We couldn't seem to find any rhythm or movement forward," she added.

Molly Derr drew first blood about 11 minutes into the game to put Forks up, 1-0.

About 13 minutes later, Aubrey McCullen scored to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead.

Maya Rullo made it 3-0 with 1:28 left in the first half, and McCullen finish off the scoring about 3 1/2 minutes after the intermission.

Chenango Forks had a 19-4 edge in shots-on-goal, and a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Taylin Gonzalez recorded nine saves in net for the Wolverines, and Carson LaFrance added four.

Waverly, now 5-3, returns to action Tuesday night at Owego Free Academy.
