NTL GIRLS SOCCER: PATTON POWERS ATHENS IN 2-0 WIN OVER WILLIAMSON (24 PHOTOS)(September 25, 2026) Valley Sports Report ATHENS — Athens senior Delanie Patton provided all the offense the Wildcats would need Thursday in a 2-0 win over Williamson in an NTL girls soccer match-up here at Alumni Stadium.
Patton broke the ice about minutes into the game when she took a feed from senior McKenna Jarvis at the top of the box, penetrated and beat the Warrior keeper with a shot to make it 1-0.
Patton scored off a rebound midway through the half to make it 2-0, and the Athens defense stifled Williamson for the remainder of the game to secure the win.
The Wildcats had a 19-7 advantage in shots-on-goal.
Sophomore Annika Lezak recorded for saves in net for the Wildcats.
Athens, now 4-2-1, returns to action Saturday at Liverpool.
