NTL VOLLEYBALL: SAYRE SWEEPS PAST SUSQUEHANNA IN NON-LEAGUE TILT (September 26, 2026)

SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. — Sayre started fast and rolled to a sweep of Susquehanna here Saturday in non-league volleyball action.

The Redskins, now 5-5, won by scores of 25-13, 25-12, and 25-17.

Junior Yhale Doon: led Sayre with seven service aces, 26 setter assists, and six digs, while junior Reghan McGaughey had nine digs, 13 kills, two assists, and three aces, senior Alex Schack: had six digs, six kills, and two aces, and junior Grace Russo recorded 16 digs.

Junior Emily Strickland registered five kills and two blocks in the win, while senior Azalea McClenny had three digs and two blocks, freshman Ember Jones added four kills, and freshman Mylee Medina chips in with three digs.

The Sayre JV won 2-0.

Sayre returns to action Tuesday when it hosts North Penn-Liberty.
